Job Description:
Data scientist
You will be the source of truth for understanding how our users interact with Eve and how our AI systems are performing. You will establish the metrics, dashboards, and experimental frameworks that allow us to make data-driven decisions, measure our progress, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Product Analytics: Define and instrument Eve's north-star metrics and supporting KPIs. Build dashboards to track user engagement, feature adoption, retention, and task success rates across different user cohorts.
- AI/ML Performance Analysis: Work with the ML and AI engineers to analyze the performance of our models and agentic systems. Go beyond simple accuracy to understand where and why our systems fail.
- Experimentation: Design, run, and analyze A/B tests to evaluate the impact of new features, models, and agent behaviors on the user experience and key metrics.
- Strategic Insights: Conduct deep-dive analyses to answer critical business questions, such as identifying the most valuable use cases, understanding user journeys, and informing the product roadmap.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of applied analytics experience in a product-focused role.
- Expert proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis (pandas, NumPy).
- Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) and data visualization tools (e.g., Metabase, Looker, Tableau) to build insightful dashboards.
- Strong foundation in statistics, causal inference, and experimental design. Must have hands-on experience designing, running, and analyzing A/B tests.
- Experience in product analytics, defining north-star metrics, instrumenting event tracking, and analyzing user funnels and retention cohorts.
